Frequently asked questions
Here are the practical questions people usually have before scheduling an in-home tech visit.
I usually respond within one business day. If your request is urgent, choose “As soon as possible” on the form.
I’ll look at the problem, explain what I’m seeing in plain language, discuss the likely cost, and get your approval before doing the work.
The minimum in-home visit is $60, which includes travel within my standard service area and up to one hour of help. Additional time is $40 per hour.
I’ll tell you. If a replacement, warranty claim, or store return makes more sense, I’ll explain that before you spend money on unnecessary work.
Make a request
Send the device, the problem, your general location, and the best way to reach you. You do not have to diagnose the issue first — a short description like “it just isn’t working” is enough to begin. I usually respond within one business day and will follow up before any appointment is confirmed.
